Get on Board with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Durand Charm and State Bank of Davis have partnered to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to children who were born this year and live in the Durand area.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library was created in 1996 for pre-schoolers in Sevier County, TN to guarantee access to books and inspire parents to read to their children as much as possible.

Durand Charm, State Bank of Davis and The Dolly Parton Imagination Library support early learning for opportunities for all children born during 2017 by sending new, age appropriate books to their homes and providing other resources that support early literacy, school readiness and life-long learning. There is no charge to participate in the program.

Through a generous donation from State Bank of Davis, Children born in 2017 and who register for the program will receive a book every month until their 5th birthday.

Families with more than one child born in 2017 can participate with each receiving their own library of books.

Families who register for the program must have a 61024 Zip Code to participate in the Imagination Library program.

Registration forms are available at the following locations: State Bank of Davis, Durand State Bank, Durand Post Office, Durand United Methodist Church, St. Mary’s Church or Trinity Lutheran Church. You can also register online at http://usa.imaginationlibrary.com/register_my_child.php#.WTbjx2jytPY.
