Advanced Disposal Single Stream Recyling Guidelines

Place all recyclables into your recycling container. There is no need to wash containers with soap, but please rinse them out. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed.

Acceptable items for single-stream recycling include:

  • Construction Paper
  • Egg Cartons – Cardboard
  • Frozen Food Cartons
  • Glass Jars and Bottles
  • Junk Mail (including envelopes)
  • Magazines
  • Newspaper with Inserts
  • Office Paper (including computer, fax & copy paper)
  • Paperback Books
  • Plastics with #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 & #7 recycling triangle symbols
    • Examples: Shampoo Bottles, Household Cleaner Bottles, Bleach Bottles, Water Bottles, Milk Bottles, Butter Tubs, Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener Bottles and Yogurt TubTelephone Books
  • White and Color Papers
