What are in-kind donations? Volunteer time, is an in-kind donation. The current “hourly wage” is $24.14 cents per hour. By keeping track of volunteer hours, you can help Durand Charm meet requirements for matching funds when applying for grant dollars. Certain grants stipulate that the nonprofit must match a percentage of grant funds and that the value of volunteer time may qualify toward satisfaction of the match requirement.
By tracking your time, we can also show the level of engagement the community has to the goals that Durand Charm has identified and set towards our revitalization effort.
